Blooming lovely: Thrilled Amanda Holden proudly shows off her growing baby bump

By Kirsty Mccormack

Autograph anyone? Amanda is pictured almost every night signing autographs for fans after her performance in Shrek: The Musical at the Theatre Royal

Amanda Holden looked positively glowing last night as she beamed with delight showing off her growing baby bump.

The actress is clearly ecstatic by the impending birth, having announced last month she is expecting a baby girl.

Her new addition to the family is all the sweeter following her tragedy in February when she lost her unborn son seven months into her pregnancy.

Wearing a navy blue, cowl neck dress with navy and red patterned heels, the Britain's Got Talent judge, 40, flashed a winning smile as she signed autographs for waiting fans and posed for photographs.

Since Holden announced the news, she has been snapped on various occasions holding her tummy and on one occasion, an ultrasound scan.

The 40-year-old recently returned to the Theatre Royal stage as her Princess Fiona in Shrek: The Musical after taking a four week break.

Although she is retiring from the role early at the beginning of October, Holden is positive that this time round, everything will go to plan.

'This time I just know everything is going to be fine,' she said.

'Even Chris, who usually says “I hope so” when I ask for reassurance, now says “I know so”.’

The Sun reported that the star said reaching the 12-week mark has reassured her: ‘Now that we have and I know that everything's fine, you've no idea how many scans I've had. I feel like we can really enjoy it.'

Holden already has a five-year-old daughter Lexi with her husband Chris Hughes and has recently said that her 'first priority is her family' and that she will be 'putting her pregnancy ahead of her commitments with Shrek.'
